Careers
Care about the problem first.
Sky Ride is bootstrapped — no payroll, and no runway to pretend otherwise. What we can hand you is ownership and real scope. What we can't hand you is caring about the 4:20am pickup that cancels at 4:15, the surge on the way to a flight you can't move, or the hour-long airport run that pays the driver less than the fare implied. Bring that part yourself and the rest is a conversation.
Why we are building it, and why we took no outside money to do it, is on the about page. If that argument does not land, neither of these is for you.

A founding member is a partner, not an employee — no salary, no set hours, and nobody assigning you work. What you own, and what it vests against, is put in writing before you start.
Intern

Your work is scoped around what you are learning rather than around what we need done, and you get a weekly review with whoever you are shadowing. This is not a tryout: finishing it does not entitle you to a paid job or to a stake, and there is no paid job here to be entitled to. If a founding-member conversation makes sense later, it is a separate one.
Before you write
Neither of these is employment. Nobody at Sky Ride draws a salary, including the people who started it.
A paragraph on why this problem, and anything you have made. No cover letter.
Founding-member equity is 1%–10% of the company, set by what you take on and when you join, and it vests. It is settled with each person rather than posted, and it is the whole of what we can offer. An internship carries the work and the reference, not a stake.
